ㅡ General Inf0Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention. Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS. From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. | Students!! I know that the weather is nice out, but please remember to stay in dress code. We still need to come to school with long enough shorts/skirts (mid thigh) and shirts that cover our chest and belly. You will be asked to change if you are not in dress code, and we have limited clothing options available in the student office. Also, reminder cell phones and ear buds are off and away during the school day. |
ㅡ Clubs/Opportunities | Attention all students, Teen Court needs jurors. Want to make a difference in a kid's life, or contribute to improving the Southeast community? If so, we need you! Plus being a teen court juror looks really good on applications! Stop by the student office to pick up an application today. Applications are due September 8th! If you were on Teen Court last year, and want to be on it again you MUST reapply! Any questions please see Ms. Miller. Poetry Club will have its first meeting of the school year Friday, September 4th from 3:30-4:00pm in room 109. This is a great space to read, write, & listen to poetry with your friends! Anyone is welcome to attend! Please see Mrs. Collins with any questions. Homecoming is right around the corner--Saturday, September 26. If you are bringing a date from another school, you MUST fill out a date request form. These are now available in the main office. Any questions, please see Mrs.Barcik in Room 103. Do you like volunteering or helping improve your community? You should check out Key Club! We are going to have our first informational meeting on Tuesday, September 8, at 3:25 in room 110 (Mrs. Wilkinson’s room). ㅡ Sports | Boys Basketball Strength and Conditioning will start Tuesday Sept. 8th. We meet out at the track after school. Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team on their first round win at the Four Corners Boys Soccer Tournament in Williamsville! Goals were scored by Dayane Azonnadou and Harold Nactetu. They play Athens on Thursday. at 6 PM. ESports Thursday Morning Announcement: Come tryout for Splatoon and Valorant. Please be at Lanphier Esports Lab using the Athletic Doors after school at 4:00pm. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office.
