ㅡ General Inf0Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention. Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS. From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. | Students!! I know that the weather is nice out, but please remember to stay in dress code. We still need to come to school with long enough shorts/skirts (mid thigh) and shirts that cover our chest and belly. You will be asked to change if you are not in dress code, and we have limited clothing options available in the student office. Hey ladies! We have a bunch of BRAND NEW(with the tags) prom dresses that are free or $25. We have Saturday, April 11th from 9am-12pm open to look at dresses. We want anyone and everyone who needs a prom dress to reach out to Ms. Sellars in the guidance office if you are interested. |

ㅡ Sports | Any Spartans that want to try out for Poms team should pick up a tryout packet in the Main Office. Tryouts are April 16-18. The softball team went on the road and picked up a conference win over Eisenhower, 15 to 0. Sudura Barber picked up 2 RBI’s in the game and Brooklyn Lee had a big hit! Good job ladies! TODAY-Friday, April 10th HOME: JV Baseball vs. Lanphier @ 4:30 PM HOME: Girls Softball vs. North Greene HS @ 4:30 PM, Lawless Park Saturday, April 11th HOME: JV/V Boys Baseball vs. Jerseyville @ 11:00 AM & 1 PM Tom McBride Girls Track & Field Invitational at Spartan Field @ 10 AM, running events begin at noon Admission: $8.00 for adults / $5.00 for students & seniors AWAY: Boys Track at Belleville West @ 11 AM We invite all staff and students to attend the Tom McBride Girls Track & Field Invitational tomorrow at our very own Spartan Field and Tom McBride Track! Field events will begin at 10 AM. Senior recognition will be at 11:30 AM and running events begin at noon. Admission is $5.00 for students. Faculty may use their staff pass for this event. We hope you will come support our Lady Spartans. If you would like to volunteer in any way, see Mr. Williams in the main office. ㅡ Awards/CelebrationsCoach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month! |
