Hey Spartans, if you are ever absent or just want to go back to see announcements because something really cool caught your attention.

Go to the Southeast webpage, scroll down and you will see the current announcements. If you want to see older announcements, click on SEE ALL POSTS.

From there you can click on any date, and either view the video, or quickly read through the printed copy to find practice times, club announcements, or just general information. 

Reminder students it’s 2nd quarter, and you know the policy about phones and earbuds. Please have them off and away. This includes the hallways!! 

Also, I know it is getting colder outside and everyone is wearing their jackets/coats to school. BUT remember, you can not wear those in class. So get your locker combination because you will be asked to put those away.Thanks

Attention AP students:

If you are taking any AP exams, all down payments are due to the Guidance office by Friday Nov, 7, 2025. If you do not turn in your money and registration form, you will not be registered for any exams. This is the last week to turn in your money if you want to take any AP exams in May. If you have any questions please see Ms. Lewis in Guidance. Thanks

Clubs/Opportunities

If you signed up for Best Buddies, our first meeting is TODAY right after school in the auditorium.

Attention all wrestlers! Wrestling season is about to begin! Our first practice will be on Monday, November 10. Anyone interested in joining the wrestling team should meet in the gym on Monday after school. See Coach Gardner in room 124 if you have any questions.

Sports

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will meet TODAY at 2:30 in the Commons.

Ladies if you are interested in track, there will be conditioning on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm until 5.  Please meet in the gym!  You can use the locker room to change.

Correction!! Boys basketball tryouts will take place Monday, Nov. 10th (6:30 - 9:15 PM) and Tuesday, Nov. 11th (3:30 - 6:30 PM). Athletes must arrive on time and attend both nights to be considered for the team. 

All cross country runners need to wash their uniforms and sweats and turn them in to the athletics office.  Please have them in a bag labeled with your name.

Awards/Celebrations

Coach Hamilton, our boys basketball coach, and Senator Doris Turner have teamed up to promote non violence in schools. Many things will be offered from this grant money, but one thing everyone enjoyed last year and could participate in was Gift Card Giveaway Friday. All you have to do is be referral free, that includes cell phone, headphones, and dress code referrals. There is a little bit of a difference this year, instead of being referral free for the WHOLE year, Coach Hamilton wants students to reflect on their referrals, make necessary changes, and get another chance at a gift card. So each month is a fresh start. How do you know if you win? Watch Friday morning announcements. The wheel will spin and name 3 big winners of $50 gift cards to be claimed in the student office. So check those Friday morning announcements and stay referral free each month!
